I don’t really listen to Paramore much, but this song is gorgeous. This song made me listen with my heart the first time i heard it because it is so true. The same way when I heard Kelly Clarkson’s Because of You for the first time.
I have cursed, cried, and there is no way to reassemble a heart once it is thoroughly and deeply broken. When that one exception comes around, grab and hold onto it/her/him until your knuckles turn white. It’s the only way to make it through and even then it won’t be without heartbreak, just a little better because you lived true to yourself.
Being ‘Us’ takes a lot of hardwork. But I took my chance with you and now I am not letting go. No one knows how stubborn I am but you. And I don’t argue like this with anyone but you.
